Project Overview
Project included new force main (Phase I) and construction of a new
master pump station, new screening channels with piped bypasses, new grit chamber, sludge drying beds, new electrical building, sidestream pump station (22’ deep excavation with shoring), above and below grade piping, demolition of existing headworks, and area paving. All concrete was cast in place except for two meter vaults. Project included installation of all mechanical equipment: submersible pumps, screens,
washers and compactors, grit king and classifier, odor control, and chemical buildings.
