Project Overview

New pump station constructed on the shore of Lake Ogletree rated at 8.5 MGD capacity including three new vertical turbine pumps with space for one future pump. The project includes design and construction of a cofferdam system to allow the construction of the concrete wet well, 22’ x 24’ x 45’ deep concrete wet well consisting of 700 cy of concrete, dredging of the bottom of the lake in the vicinity of the pump station, new 7,500 gallon surge tank and accessories, new electrical building to house adjustable frequency drives for the pumps as well as other associated electrical and control equipment, and associated demolition of the existing pumping station facilities. Contract was $4,797,000 and the completion date was October 14, 2014.
